Dr. Maddy Lutz is a graduate from Tuskegee, Al University of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lutz worked as a technician with VCA for 9 years before becoming a veterinarian. She was president of Tuskegee’s chapter of the American Association of Feline Practitioners and Canine Club. Dr. Lutz enjoys small animal internal medicine and surgery. She also practices on small rodents, pocket pets and small birds. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Maddy Lutz to our VCA Clinton Township Animal Hospital and to our community. 
These cute little animals are fast growing members of the pet population. Rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, rats, mice, guinea pigs, and ferrets are often called pocket pets. Pocket Pets have specific diet, housing, and handling requirements, and need to be taken care of just as much as a dog or cat. VCA Clinton Township Animal Hospital is now seeing rabbits, ferrets, and other small pocket pets. We look forward to helping you manage their care and continued health.
